Finely detailed milgrain texturing covers every edge on this finely pierced openwork piece, including the secure bezel around the 0.50 carat peridot. The peridot has a cheerful yellowish green color that brings up memories of fabulous drinks and treats tasting brightly of citrus! The sparkle of the peridot is complimented by the bright luster on the row of white seed pearls down the center of the bar brooch. Slender gold lines form chevrons that point toward the peridot at the center. The chevrons create the feel of a leaf the same color as the peridot, with the warmth of the sun added by the warm 14 karat yellow gold metal.
