The Famous "Hidden Halo" on Diamond Engagement Rings

We have been fortunate enough to be able to help folks when they want to get engaged and need a special ring for over 30 years! Trends have come and gone but whatever style of designs that are trending-we have it or we are making it. For ten years, we have been making halo designs (rings that have a center stone and have the small round diamonds going around). Thirty years ago, jewelers called this a cluster ring but that name went by the wayside to become the now famous “halo”. When you want to make your diamond or gemstone to appear even bigger, the halo is a great way to go!

About two years ago, we saw a growing trend of the hidden halo. Many people react to this name by saying, “what is that?” I am here to tell you that you are not the only one that is confused. The hidden halo is actual a solitaire (ring with one diamond) that has a cinch below it that has tiny diamonds facing out and going around in a circle. Where the regular halo has a circle of diamonds facing up, the hidden halo has the diamonds facing out. This is a small accent to a single stone but it adds just the right amount of flare to the design!

The ring pictured here is a Hidden Halo Ring! When you are selecting your new engagement ring, be sure to ask about the "hidden halo"-you won't be disappointed!
